The South Central Young Democrats, during their April General Meeting, conducted their first endorsement process. Candidates were deemed eligible if they are going to appear on the Democratic ballot in the May 20, 2025, primary, they had a public email, social media page, or website that provided a form of contact, and they completed the questionnaire that was sent to them at the end of March. A total of 25 candidates met these eligibility requirements and were considered for our endorsement.

Our endorsement is a representation of the best Democratic candidates that will represent young Democrats in the South Central Pennsylvania region. Young Democrats will be supporting these candidates through the primary and believe that they will implement standards, policies, and legislation that will empower young people and drive Pennsylvania, and the nation, forward with purpose and empathy. The endorsed candidates are eligible to receive donations, be hosted at events, and utilize the Young Democrat’s resources for the purposes of running and winning their campaigns.
